Dana Green is the pen name for the author who is a Buddhist nun. Dana is Sanskrit for “giving” and Green refers to a green earth. Dana is a Buddhist educator dedicated to writing books that teach children how to connect to their spiritual nature. She lives at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas, a Buddhist monastery in California.
Terri Nicholson is a teacher and writer. She is one of the founders of Instilling Goodness School in Ukiah, California, and holds a BA in Religious Studies from University of California, Santa Barbara.

Blue Cedar is a teacher and holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Davis. She is a Buddhist nun in the Chinese Chan tradition and began illustrating books when she was 17. Some of her many books include: Dew Drops, Kindness: Anthology of Vegetarian Poetry, and Meditation Handbook.
